Switch and Pedal scanner
Product status: Planned
This is a PCB that will help you build a MIDI-sender for your organ-pedals, organ-keybed or any item with switches that you want to send MIDI from.
It can scan up to 72 switches. Only single switches, no velocity, just on or off. Code example and connection guide will be found here on this webpage.
- This is a scanner for switches like organ-pedals, organ-keybeds, guitar foot controls and other switch boards.
- It is a DIY-product! Only a PCB with some components pre-soldered.
- You have to buy and solder some components separately.
- Of course you have to solder your switches/keys/pedals to the (optional) IDC contacts on the PCB.
- Up to 72 switches can be scanned
- Two adc-inputs for reading potentiometers like volume pedals, and send MIDI CC.
- The Outbreak Jr can be used as a MIDI-receiver in your Eurorack.
NOT included:
- Arduino Nano – buy and program yourself, code example on the website.
- IDC connectors – No connectors included. Not male! Not female! These are optional and you can solder your switches with cables directly to the PCB.
- Pinstrips – Same here, they are optional and you can solder cables directly to the PCB when needed.
- MIDI connector – You have to decide and buy a DIN5 or a 3.5mm stereo connector of your choosing.
