Outbreak Junior is a small and expandable MIDI-interface.

Voice handler for 1 mono-voice with PITCH, VELOCITY and GATE
CV output jacks for PITCH, VELOCITY, X, Y and MODWHEEL
Digital output jacks for GATE and CLK
Jacks and expanders (except pitch,vel,gate) can be re-configured via MIDI by the user
3.5mm TRS-MIDI input jack on the front panel
LED on the front panel for MIDI activity and configurations
CV jacks have a release parameter (except pitch)
Memory for latest user re-configuration for jacks and expanders
MIDI learn for many of the jack functions
Up to four Digital8 expanders can be connected for further expanded functionality
It has additional MIDI-input pins on the backside, to be used together with a Otto MIDI, instead of the MIDI input jack on the front
The DIY Pedal scanner can be used as a MIDI source for this module, and lets you control your Eurorack with your feet…

MIDI-messages that can be learned or configured to jacks and expanders:

Mono Voice: Pitch, Velocity and Gate (always tied to pitch,vel,gate jacks)
MIDI CC
Pitch bend
Channel aftertouch
MIDI Notes (can be used as drum triggers)
Start, Stop, Reset (expanders only)
MIDI clock with user defined divisions

Expanders ar digital out only and can be configured for:

MIDI CC on/off
Pitch bend switch
Channel aftertouch switch
MIDI Note gates
Start, Stop, Reset
MIDI clocks with preset div range sets

An additional DIY pedal/key-scanner is planned, that can be built into a organ-pedal-board and send MIDI to this module.
This is useful for using your feet to control your modular system.
